did you know... I'm a nanny for a boy named ethan?!

his halloween costume!

his mom is the director of the preschool/kindergarten at BYU and needs someone to watch him while she works. 

he's been coming to work with her and has had a college student nanny since he was 3 months old.. and he just turned six!

he. is. a. GENIOUS.

it all started on my first day when I was trying to describe to him how a certain object was so small it could fit in his pocket.

he excitedly said, "Yeah! It's so portable!"

now that seems like such a silly and easy word for him to know, because his vocabulary is ridonkulous.

he knows everything about planes and trains... he builds models of aircraft carriers out of cardboard... he can master a computer like it's nothing... and he understands all those "big" words you say. no need to dumb it down. this kid is seriously brilliant!

aaaaaand seriously hyper when he discovers the video recorder on your phone. ;)
